My name is Mel and I am the founder of Well Goodness Me.

I started Well Goodness Me in 2015 out of a desire to do something towards improving peoples health. I wanted to make fermented and wholefood products more easily accessible in my local town. At the time, ingredients such as ghee, bone broths, tallow and fermented foods were not easy to find. I was making these things for my family when one day someone suggested "Why don't you sell these things?" So a few months later.. Well Goodness Me was born.

Our original full range of products (2015)

We kicked off with 7 different products:

Cultured Tomato Sauce

Fully Loaded Pickles

Sauerkraut

Sweet Beets (fermented beetroot salad)

O.M.Ghee

Tallow

Bone Broth (Chicken, Beef & Lamb)

Our products were well received and I will never forget the amazing support from our local community and stockists.

Still working my 2 x jobs at the time.. to say we were busy was an understatement! It soon became apparent that something had to give. At the time I wasn't ready to give up either of my jobs. But I also wasn't willing to give up time with my family/friends, health or sanity. So I made the heartbreaking decision to stop Well Goodness Me. I cried and I cried, feeling like I'd failed and let everybody down. My stockists, my lovely customers, my family and myself. I decided that I just wanted to go to work, do my job and come home.. leaving behind the stress of running my own business.

Fast forward a few years later of the easier (but also less fulfilling), ‘going to work, doing my job and coming home’ I’ve felt the need for something more.. something I’m passionate about. So Well Goodness Me was reborn.

We have re-launched our unique and beloved Fully Loaded Pickles. With the plan to start off with one product, keep things manageable and see what evolves!

I have ideas for other offerings, in the form of other products and services.
